Functionality was paramount: a specific number of seats was required, which also had to offer spaciousness, comfort, and privacy for guests. The operational flows needed to be fluid and thoughtfully designed.

Certain existing elements, such as panoramic windows, the main entrance, the buffet entrance, the ventilation system, and the existing flooring, set specific parameters for the project. The interior design needed to be both contemporary and timeless to satisfy both future and regular guests. The restaurant, meanwhile, should not lose the charm of a family-run country hotel.

Nature and Forest as a Design Concept at Landhotel Waldeck
The theme of nature and forest was a logical choice, as the hotel’s name already suggests it and the surrounding landscape further emphasizes this theme.
The rooms embody a masterful interplay of natural materials, thematic motifs, and modern design, characteristic of the Landhotel Waldeck concept. The careful selection of warm wood with specially developed, stylized forest motifs and a dynamic interplay of slats, reflecting the rhythm of trees in the forest, creates an inviting and unique atmosphere.
Modern Contrasts and Thoughtful Room Design at Landhotel Waldeck
The use of dark metal for window frames and furniture frames adds a modern contrast that emphasizes the natural warmth of the wood.
The room design is thoughtfully segmented, with half-height partitions delineating individual dining areas without compromising the openness of the space. Each area is furnished with elegant, comfortable seating in soft, earthy tones, offering a cozy yet stylish dining experience.
